Ingredients
  

Danish Dough:
  • 1 package crescent rolls Pillsbury recommended
  • 1 –2 tablespoons flour for dusting
Filling:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup granulated or powdered sugar
  • teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
Glaze:
  • cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk

Equipment

  • parchment paper
  • Small bowl
  • Hand mixer or whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll crescent rolls and cut into 15 slices. Shape into rounds with indentations for filling. Dust with flour as needed.
  3. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add a small dollop of filling to each Danish, followed by cherries.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Mix powdered sugar and milk to create a glaze. Drizzle over cooled Danishes.

Notes

  • Substitute cherries with other fruit fillings for variety.
  • Ensure the cream cheese is softened for smooth mixing.
