Ingredients
  

Cake:

  • 1 box 15.25 oz white or vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Orange Cream Glaze (optional):

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • ½ teaspoon orange zest

Frosting:

  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch pan or two 9-inch round pans.
  • Mix cake ingredients and pour into the prepared pan(s).
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, then cool completely.
  • Prepare frosting by beating cream cheese and butter, then adding powdered sugar, vanilla, and zest.
  • Frost the cooled cake and drizzle with optional orange glaze.
  • Slice and serve. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
  • Substitute orange juice with milk for a milder flavor
