- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5 loaf pan.
- Mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream brown sugar and butter. Add eggs, sour cream, mashed bananas, and vanilla.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
- Bake for 55–60 minutes, then let cool.
- Make the glaze by boiling brown sugar and butter. Stir in cream, then powdered sugar and salt.
- Pour glaze over the cooled bread.

- For added texture, mix in chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
- Glaze can be made in advance and reheated before use.
